Lauren Daigle to Appear on Good Morning America

It’s been announced that Lauren Daigle is set to appear on Good Morning America on December 29th. Although there’s no word yet on what she’ll be singing, she is scheduled to head into their studio to perform live.

Lauren recently completed her solo debut tour to sold-out venues and is currently on tour with For King & Country on their A For King & Country Christmas Tour in support of her Christmas album, Behold. She was also honored with her second GRAMMY nomination for her song “Trust In You” from her album How Can It Be.

C3LA released an album this year and one song that I’ve been listening to over and over again is “Yours.” There’s just something about the lyrics that captures my heart and perfectly articulates the words that I’ve been wanting to say. It’s like it was taken straight out of my mouth. No matter how many times I’ve listened to it, every listen feels like the first time. And every time, I’m just constantly being reminded of God’s goodness and how far He’s brought me in this year alone.

Switchfoot & Relient K To Return to The Bay Area

It was just a few weeks ago when Switchfoot & Relient K stopped by the Bay Area, but these two bands will be returning here again in January for Part II of their fall co-headline Looking For America tour. If you didn’t get a chance to see them in San Francisco a few weeks ago, then now’s your chance! They’ll be stopping by Santa Cruz this time on January 22nd.

I haven’t seen Relient K live before, and neither do I really know their songs, but I’ve seen Switchfoot live before back in Malaysia

Rend Collective – Campfire II: Simplicity

In October of this year, Rend Collective released a new album titled Campfire II: Simplicity. You probably got this from the title, but the general idea of the album was to record stripped-down, acoustic versions of songs around a campfire. Most of the songs featured on this album were previously from their The Art of Celebration and As Family We Go albums. But, it also features two new tracks, as well as a re-imagined version of Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) originally by Hillsong United.

It’s finally December, which means that you can finally declare your love for Christmas and blast all the Christmas tunes as loud as you want without feeling like you’re being judged by the people around you! Who are they to question your love for Christmas anyway? In fact, unless they’re the Grinch, how can someone not love this season?

Urban Rescue // CCM EDM Artist Feature

Urban Rescue is a 3-man band from Los Angeles, California. Fronted by Jordan Frye, they are the first ever act to be signed to Rend Family Records, a label partnership between Irish CCM band Rend Collective and Capitol Christian Music Group. They started off as a band in 2009, releasing a few independent albums and EPs along the way whilst gaining a following. It was not until early 2016 that they released a their most notable EP titled Wild Heart with Rend Family Records and Capitol CMG. A few months later, Urban Rescue released a full-length studio album of the same title with Sparrow Records, Rend Family Records and Capitol CMG. 

Personal // Peace of Mind

Here I am, on a Saturday afternoon, sitting in a coffee shop (Blue Bottle in Palo Alto, if you’re wondering) just penning my thoughts down. It’s been a whirlwind these past few weeks – which explains my absence from this blog. Having to juggle personal stuff, school (it’s midterm season!), an internship, leadership responsibilities with a Christian Fellowship on campus, and serving on a worship team is no easy task. Especially when I’ve been falling sick here and there throughout this period (I’m currently sick, again).

Bethel Music Wins Four Dove Awards

The Bethel Music artists and team scored four Dove Awards at the 47th Annual GMA Dove Awards on Tuesday. The Dove Awards, which recognises outstanding achievements and excellence in the Christian music industry, took place in Nashville, Tennessee.

As mentioned, Bethel Music took home four awards from different categories during the ceremony. The first was Worship Song of the Year for Jonathan and Melissa Helser’s song, No Longer Slaves, second was Inspirational Album of the Year

Capital Kings // CCM EDM Artist Feature

Capital Kings is a Christian EDM act that is made up of duo Cole Walowac and Dylan Housewright. The uniqueness of their style of music, which consists of a mix of pop, electronic, hip-hop and even dubstep influences, makes them standout from the rest of the pack.

Originally, Capital Kings was made up of Cole Walowac and John White, who has since then left the band to pursue his own solo music career. Capital Kings has been around in the music industry since 2010.
